What?

Leafish provide website design & development ranging from simple, static sites to content-driven, dynamic sites and e-commerce. We also provide stable, Linux-based hosting for sites of all sizes.

Who?

Leafish was founded by two experienced developers, Paul Byrne and Dylan Sides, who both have many years of professional experience in website design and programming. Previously, Paul and Dylan worked for a respected video games company, where Paul was lead web developer and responsible for several game and corporate sites. Dylan worked as a developer on several of the company’s most popular Playstation 2 titles.

How?

Our servers run Debian GNU/Linux or FreeBSD as their operating systems. Websites are served using Lighttpd/PHP/Python/mySQL, and mail with Postfix/Dovecot. All servers are secured with firewalls, extensive logging, daily backups, strict login and file permissions, and an intrusion detection system.

We have years of experience with (X)HTML, PHP, C/C++, UNIX scripting, Python, Apache/LightTPD, MySQL, Drupal, XML & Flash and an excellent understanding of the Internet, its history and culture, and possible future trends in its technology and uses.

Where?

We’re based in Wrexham, North Wales, UK. Our clients are mainly based in Europe, USA and Canada, but we can serve clients globally.

Why?

We aim to provide friendly, jargon-free service and support for our customers, and believe that everybody’s site should be unique. We’re not a faceless corporation, and we enjoy our work.
